KRASTA 9.7.11 available

10.09.2018

Dear subscribers and KRASTA customers,

Version 9.7.11 is available for all customers with an active support and maintenance contract at our customer's area at http://www.krasta.de (blue "login" box at top right).

KRASTA 9.7.11 includes compared to KRASTA 9.7.9 among others the following changes:

-- Version 9.7.11 --

FS#1631
Modification in KRASTA 9.7.11: For rectangular solid profiles, round solid profiles and thick-walled pipes, the addition of
torsional shear stress and transverse shear stress is geometric, i.e. vectorial.
KRASTA previously used the unsigned length of the resulting shear vector as the resulting shear stress value.
Now this value gets the sign of the dominant shear stress vector component.

FS#1679
Error: KRASTA may ignore load events when evaluating logic load cases in connection with situation-dependent load cases.
If a nested logic load case contains a logic branch with only situation-dependent load cases, which are to be ignored in the evaluated situation
(see FS#1680 below), evaluation of the superordinate logical branch is canceled. The load events that should follow in the superior logical
branch are missing for the evaluation.
Revision effective with 9.7.11: KRASTA is working as intended.

FS#1680
Modification in KRASTA 9.7.11: Situation-dependent load cases: The label of the option 'is load zero' does not reflect the actual behavior.
In fact, this option may have caused the load case to be ignored instead of acting as a zero load case.
There is no difference in combination with other load components. It is only relevant in a combination, which consists entirely of
zero loads or loads to be ignored. KRASTA now let situation dependent load cases act as zero load cases if necessary. This can lead
to a larger number of load case permutations to be evaluated.

-- Version 9.7.10 --

FS#1577
Error: KRASTA crashes if material contains a classification according to a not (yet) known standard.
Revision effective with 9.7.10: KRASTA is working as intended.

FS#1583
Error: KRASTA crashes if beam displays a classification according to a not (yet) known standard.
Revision effective with 9.7.10: KRASTA is working as intended.

A complete list of changes is available in the KRASTA customers area
