KRASTA 9.9.1 available

24.11.2025

Dear subscribers and KRASTA customers,

Version 9.9.1 is available for all customers with an active support and maintenance contract at our customer's area at http://www.krasta.de (blue "login" box at top right).

KRASTA 9.9.1 includes compared to KRASTA 9.9.0 among others the following enhancements, improvements and corrections:

FS#1851
New in KRASTA 9.9.1: New solver algorithm for constraint conditions
For constraint conditions (e.g. beam force conditions like "tension only") a new solver algorithm is available.
The new (incremental) algorithm is the standard solver. The previous (iterative) algorithm can be activated via options for calculation models individually.

FS#2120
New in KRASTA 9.9.1: Export of mass and load cases as graph
Mass and load cases can be exported in different formats for display as graph in third party software.
File -> Import/Export -> Graph Export...

FS#2080
Improvement in KRASTA 9.9.1: Situation-dependent loads may now refer to other situation-dependent loads.

FS#2125
Improvement in KRASTA 9.9.1: Beam filter list criterion for conical beams
Filter criterion "Cross section 2" for filtering the cross section an the end of the beam.
Filter criterion "conical (CS 1 not equal CS 2) for filtering conical or constant cross sections.

FS#2117
Error: Hot rolled sections according to GOST 26020-83: False cross section values in the standard have been adopted.
Correction in 9.9.1: Cross section library GOST 26020-83 has been corrected.

FS#2118
Error: Unit stresses in cross section libraries may be derived from non-standard cross section values.
The unit stresses in some of the newer cross section libraries may be calculated based on cross section values of a parametric cross sections and not based on the cross section values of the standard.
Standard cross sections are checked when a model is opened. Affected cross sections are identified and the user will be asked if the unit stresses should be corrected.
Correction in 9.9.1: Unit stresses are derived from standard cross section values.

FS#2119
Error: L-sections according to EN 10056-1 updated.
Correction in 9.9.1: Cross section library of L-sections according to EN 10056-1 has been updated.

A detailed list with further changes and corrections is available in the customer area.

Kind Regards
Frank Meier-Dörnberg
